UV Sterilisation:
What is the UV cycle doing whilst you're busy making a brew, petting the cat or any other little task that takes 3 minutes?
Ultraviolet light is electromagnetic radiation that kills microorganisms (the medical industry uses ultraviolet light to sterilise rooms, equipment and medical instruments because it's safe and effective). So with that in mind, this handy steriliser is in fact zapping and killing 99.9% of bacteria in 3 minutes flat. Sounds good to us.
This appliance contains a UV emitter. Do not use latex products with this device. Latex can break down when exposed to UV light.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Wipe clean only. Leave open to dry. Do not soak or submerge in liquid. Do not use bleach or harsh cleaning agents.
WARNING: Keep the product away from children. Do not stare directly at UV light as it can cause discomfort or retinol damage with prolonged exposure. Do not store in direct sunlight or near a source of heat. Please make sure that all items inside the steriliser are in direct contact with UV light.

WARRANTY: Nuby's Portable UV Steriliser includes a one-year limited warranty against defects from the date of purchase. In the event of a malfunction or defect during the in-warranty period, Nuby, at its discretion, will replace or repair the product under warranty. Upon receipt of the product and the proof of purchase with a valid date of purchase, the defective part will be immediately repaired or replaced and returned to you free of charge. Please send defective unit, proof of purchase with valid date of purchase, and a description of the problem you have encountered.
HOW TO USE
Preparation
- Plug the device into a suitable power source using power cable provided
- Place the metal tray inside the base of the steriliser
- Wash bottles and parts thoroughly, shake excess water off
- Place all parts of the bottle into the steriliser
Operation
- Press the Nuby button to wake the unit and press again to start the cycle
- The button will begin to flash, indicating that a sterilisation cycle is in progress
- When cycle completes, the button will become a solid light. If the lid is opened during a cycle, the UV LED bulbs will automatically shut off. This is a safety feature to prevent UV light exposure. Restart the cycle by closing the lid and pressing the Nuby button.
