Our iconic RapidCool earned its stripes by becoming the must-have solution for parents who want a bottle ready fast. And now, it’s had a cool new makeover.
We’ve teamed up with North East street-artist Mul, known for brightening up streets nationwide with his disco-inspired heart designs, to bring you a limited edition that’s as bold as it is brilliant.
Behind the vibrant look is the same smart tech parents already love. The portable solution for making a formula feed that’s quick, convenient, and hygienic. No cold water baths, no waiting around, no guesswork. Just a safe feeds following NHS guidelines, ready in minutes, wherever you are.
Here’s how it works:
1. Add freshly boiled water using the internal measurement markers.
2. Pop in your premeasured formula powder, add your digital and shake.
3. Turn the RapidCool upside down for 5-10 seconds for the milk to come into contact with the thermometer.
4. Tip the RapidCool the right way up and tap the digital lid to check the temperature. Green means you're ready to serve.
Just pour into a sterile bottle and check the temp on your wrist before giving to your baby. Feeds are ready in as little as two minutes* (2–5 mins depending on feed size). Pretty cool, huh?

How does RapidCool work?
The Nuby RapidCool infant bottle maker base uses specialist patented materials within its walls to absorb heat from the boiling water that is used to prepare formula milk, quickly cooling the feed to the perfect temperature. The digital lid has an integrated thermometer that activates when it comes into contact with water.
How do I clean and sterilise the RapidCool lid?
The digital lid should be cleaned in warm, soapy water. After cleaning, the lid should be sterilised by UV sterilisation or cold-water sterilisation - for cold-water sterilisation, please follow manufacturer's instructions. The Nuby RapidCool lid must glow Nuby red when attached to the flask to indicate the water is at the correct temperature. Keep the RapidCool upside down to make sure the water is in contact with the lid for at least 30 seconds. The seal inside the RapidCool lid is also removable to make cleaning after each use super quick and easy. After the lid and seal have been cleaned the lid will be safe to use.
How do I sterilise the RapidCool base?
You can sterilise the Nuby RapidCool base via UV sterilisation, cold water sterilisation or steam sterilisation. Never steam sterilise in a microwave.
Can I mix formula with the boiled water immediately or do I have to wait for the water to cool down to 70°C?
No, you don’t have to wait. Freshly boiled water can and should be used immediately for the safest feed. NHS guidelines state that water should be no less than 70°C, and due to the specialist patented materials within RapidCool's walls, freshly boiled water will begin to cool immediately once poured inside - meaning the water will no longer be at boiling temperature but still hot enough to make a feed safely once the formula has been dispensed into the flask.
Mixing formula with freshly boiled water is the safest way to feed, as it ensures any harmful bacteria are eliminated.

How do I know when the RapidCool is ready to use again?
The Nuby RapidCool works by absorbing heat from hot liquids. After being exposed to heat, it will require a minimum of 3 hours before being ready to use again. The flask should feel cool to the touch.
How does RapidCool comply with NHS guidelines?
The NHS guidelines state that when preparing a bottle, you should use freshly boiled water, which has been left no longer than 30 minutes so that it remains at a temperature of at least 70°C. With RapidCool baby bottle maker you pour freshly boiled water into the base along with your formula, and thanks to its patented technology the bottle will then cool the feed in 2 minutes*. Using freshly boiled water means that any harmful bacteria is killed and the RapidCool eliminates the need to run bottles under cold water or use an ice bath to get the feed to the right temperature.
View NHS guidelines on baby formula feeding here.
How long can I leave the feed in the flask after preparing it?
We recommend that the feed is used immediately (as soon as the Nuby light turns green and indicates the feed has cooled sufficiently), as per NHS guidelines.
How would this work for night feeds?
The Nuby RapidCool infant bottle maker is quiet and quick, with no noisy machines or plugs needed. There is also the option of keeping hot water to hand in an insulated flask, to save time boiling the kettle in the middle of the night.
How many feeds does it make at a time?
RapidCool baby bottle maker makes one feed at a time as it requires cleaning and sterilising between uses. We have designed the Nuby RapidCool so that you have the flexibility of feed sizes between 90ml - 240ml (3oz - 8oz) as your baby grows. There are seven measurement markers located inside the flask between 60ml and 240ml.
How is it powered?
The lid is powered by a long-life lithium battery that does not require charging.
Where should I store the RapidCool?
The Nuby RapidCool infant bottle maker should be stored in a cool dark place, out of direct sunlight.
Can I take my RapidCool through airport security?
Security measures may differ between travel providers, so we recommend you check with both your airline, as well as the airport(s) you are travelling through to ensure you can take your Nuby RapidCool portable formula feed maker onboard.
