Descaling
NOTE: If the filter is less than 4 weeks old, you don't need a new one for the descaling process.
- Continuous flashing of the Child Lock icon means descaling and filter change are needed.
- Remove the filter and filter holder, pour 250ml of white vinegar into the tank, then add 750ml of water.
- Press the Boiling Water icon, press the Child Lock icon, press the Water Drop icon to dispense water and continue to produce boiling water until the water tank is depleted.
- Fill the tank with 300ml of fresh water, press the Boiling Water icon to dispense into a cup or jug. Once complete, discard any remaining water before use.
- After the descaling is completed, add the filter and put the filter holder into the tank.
When descaling is completed, press & hold the Room Temp icon and the Boiling Water icon at the same time, this will restore the timing of the pump working and the Child Lock icon will return to normal.
Refreshing The Water
If the water has been sitting in the tank for more than 48 hours, discard the water and refill before use.
Emptying The Water Drainage Tray
Remove the Metal Drip Tray and the plastic Water Collector Tray underneath, cleaning them both with soapy water, ensuring to wipe clean the area underneath both trays with a damp cloth.
Cleaning The Float
Remove the Float Lid & Float from the tank and clean with warm soapy water. Please ensure the Float & Float Lid are re-inserted correctly (as shown in the user manual).
Do I have to use the RapidHot with a RapidCool or can I use a bottle?
We recommend using a RapidCool with the RapidHot for a fast, safe feed, however it can be used with a bottle. If using a bottle the water will need to cool before giving to baby and please take care as it will be hot whilst dispensing.
Why is my machine flashing and showing 000?
This means your baby formula machine is now ready for a filter change. Please follow the instructions in your user manual.
My machine is not flashing but showing 000 on the digital panel?
This means your tank is empty or there is not enough water in the tank. Please fill at least 600 ml of water.
How to make a feed

Step one
Before making a feed, turn off the saftey lock by holding down the Child Lock icon. Select the required temperature and feed size.

Step two
Position your RapidCool on the stand and press the Water Drop icon to dispense water

Step three
Once your RapidCool is filled, immediately add your baby formula and screw the digital lid onto the RapidCool tight.

Step four
Shake well to ensure the formula powder is fully dissolved for around 2 minutes. Turn the RapidCool upside down so the mixture touches the thermostat inside the digital lid.

Step five
Press the lid sensor, if this shows amber then your feed is still too hot. Continue to shake to cool it down. Once your lid sensor shows green your feed is now the perfect temperature to serve.

Step six
Pour the cooled feed into a sterilised bottle and test the temperature on your wrist before feeding your baby.
