We've joined forces with acclaimed street artist Mul, to create a limited-edition version of the UK best-selling baby accessory* the RapidCool.
In a collaboration no one saw coming, Mul’s iconic Mother art piece will appear on 500 exclusive Mul x RapidCool, adding a bold, creative twist to how baby products are typically perceived.
This collaboration comes at a time when street art has evolved into a prominent part of popular culture. Recent YouGov data highlights this shift, naming Banksy the second most popular artist in the UK for Q1 2025 with a 66% popularity rating, just behind Leonardo da Vinci at 73% and ahead of Vincent van Gogh at 62%. This reflects the growing mainstream recognition and influence of street art.
Mul, whose street art adorns walls from Newcastle and London to Amsterdam, Berlin, and Barcelona, describes his signature disco-inspired heart artwork as “all about relationships, love and of course, having fun.”
Mul continues, “The love heart is a universal symbol and I have harnessed that power to show emotion and affection that we need a little more of in today’s world.
“I find that people can relate to my character as an extension of themselves. It is a way to show love, emotion and human interaction no matter your background, orientation or where you are from.”
The RapidCool is already a game-changer for parents across the UK, cooling baby formula from boiling to the perfect temperature in just two minutes**. Now, this innovative baby product gets a cultural makeover with a design that sparks conversation and connection.
The limited-edition Mul x RapidCool will be available exclusively on Nuby’s website starting Friday 1st August, on a first-come, first-served basis. Parents will need to act rapidly to get their hands on this baby essential with a street art twist.
James Russell Watson, Head of Marketing at Nuby, commented, “I first came across Mul’s artwork when I was living in East London, so when I moved to the North-East and saw his iconic heart design popping up everywhere here too, it reminded me that we are indeed the ‘United’ Kingdom – lots of different areas and postcodes, but all still very much connected. We’re all living on this amazing island together, so Mul’s message of love and unity really resonated. As Nuby is all about helping parents bring new babies into the world, this seemed like a great sentiment to get behind, and we hope parents will feel the same up, down and across the UK.“
