We’ve teamed up with baby weaning expert Shikha Gill, founder of My Little Food Critic, to bring you this baby weaning recipe, ideal for a baby with a sweet tooth.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp milk (or dairy free milk)
  • 2 strawberries, finely mashed
  • 1/2 ripe banana, mashed
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 slices bread of choice
  • 1 tbsp coconut oil

Steps

Step 1

Whisk the egg, milk, banana and vanilla in a bowl

Step 2

Cut the bread into thick sticks

Step 3

Dip each stick into the mixture until well coated

Step 4

Heat the coconut oil in a pan over medium heat

Step 5

Cook the sticks for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through
