Now that you’ve got your RapidCool, you're probably eager to get started but might be wondering exactly how to use it for the first time.

We’ve created a complete guide to help you make the most of your RapidCool, whether you’re at home or out and about, along with tips on how to sterilise it properly.

Read even further to find out how the other products in our RapidTeam can make life easier when it comes to your baby feeding routine.

Follow these six simple steps to use your RapidCool

  1. Fill your RapidCool with freshly boiled water, using the measuring markers inside the flask to match the bottle size your baby needs.
  2. Add pre-measured formula powder to the freshly boiled water inside the RapidCool.
  3. Attach the digital lid and ensure the amber light is displayed, indicating that the feed is still too warm.
  4. Shake the RapidCool, turning the flask upside down to ensure the mixture touches the thermostat inside the digital lid.
  5. In as little as 2 minutes*, the Nuby logo light will turn green, indicating the feed has cooled and is ready to serve.
  6. Pour the cooled feed into a sterilised bottle and test the temperature on your wrist before feeding your baby.

Making a fresh bottle feed while you’re out and about can be hassle-free with the RapidCool™ Twin Pack Baby Bottle Maker. The twin pack includes a RapidCool™ flask with a digital thermometer lid, an insulated flask for storing water, and a milk powder dispenser.

To prepare feeds on the go, simply fill the insulated flask with freshly boiled water. This way, you can make a feed safely without needing to find a place to boil water or cutting your day out short to return home.

The insulated flask will keep the boiled water at a safe temperature for at least three hours**. You can check the temperature by using the digital lid – if the Nuby logo is red, the water is still hot enough to kill bacteria.

How to sterilise your RapidCool

The easiest way to sterilise your RapidCool is with our upgraded RapidSterilise+ but here are a couple of steps to take for a safe feed.

RapidCool digital lid: Clean the digital lid with warm, soapy water. After cleaning, sterilise it using UV sterilisation or cold-water sterilisation.

RapidCool base: The base of your RapidCool can be sterilised using UV sterilisation, cold-water sterilisation, or steam sterilisation (note: it is not microwave-safe).

The RapidCool is compatible with the RapidSterilise+, our 3 Minute UV Steriliser which is ideal for home use and the Portable UV Steriliser which is perfect for on-the-go feeds.
